The P.E.O. Chapter CS will be having a Mom-2-Mom sale at the Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 973 W. Norton Ave., Norton Shores. The cost is $1 per person at the door. The sale can get very crowded during the first hour, therefore strollers are not permitted until after 11am.
What to expect: Each seller will have their own table with children's items for sale. These items typically include children's clothes, shoes, toys, books, videos, bottles, bibs, crib bedding, maternity clothes and much more. The items are purchased directly from the seller so bring plenty of cash and keep the bills small. You may also want to bring a large tote bag to carry your purchases.
There is also a large item area where you may find strollers, cribs, bikes, changing tables, larger toys, highchairs, pack-n-plays and other large sale items. If you are looking for large items, visit this area first as these items usually go fast!
P.E.O Chapter CS will also be holding a bake sale, so don't forget to check it out before you leave.
Come see what great buys you can find!

Tips for Selling
Make sure that your items are CLEAN and in good condition. Clearly label each item with price and size. It also helps to sort your clothing by size. Adding a sign that states what size and gender clothing you have at your table will help attract the proper shoppers.
Arrive early so you have plenty of time to set up and organize your table. Pricing your items at home and transporting them in easy to carry containers will help you to set up your table quicker.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Make sure you eat something before the sale. There will also be water and baked goods available for sale.
If you have a rack, make sure that it is secure so it won’t fall over if the items are pushed from one end of it to the other by buyers.
Two persons are permitted at each table and this is recommended as the first hour of the sale can be very busy. This is also helpful during the pre-sale so that one of you can shop while the other sells your items. Also, during the day you may need to take a quick break. You don't want to leave your table unattended.
Don't forget to bring bags to put the items in that you sell. Also bring plenty of change and one dollar bills. Don’t leave your money accessible to the general public. A hip bag or an apron with pockets is a good idea to keep your money close.

What is a Mom-2-mom sale?
A Mom-2-Mom sale is a large indoor garage sale where moms (and dads) come together to sell their gently used children's clothing, toys, books, baby gear, nursery furniture, maternity clothes, and much more! Participants rent tables where they sell the items their families have outgrown. There is also a large item area where things like bikes, strollers, furniture, pack-n-plays, swings, and highchairs are displayed. Mom-2-Mom sales are traditionally held in the spring and fall as families get ready to transition to the next season. They are great place to find name brand items at steeply reduced prices.
